2011/12 driveshaft & drivers vs 2008 driveshaft and driv

There is nothing wrong with the shafts they just have a usable hard life of 8000-10000 miles maybe more maybe less. Even my HD which is thicker isn't in fallable MDKUNI broke on of those in about the same miles as a stocker but he rides it like a maniac. Even stock these engines are putting all the nuts to the one side of the shaft there is a lot of pressure there. Go add boost like mine and the problem gets worse.

I dont see it as a poor part just a wear item.

X2

I'm running a Yamcharger, PCV, Dalton Clutching, blah, blah, blah, and remain confident that the stock shaft is fine, just subject to fatigue. I just really need to purchase some extrovert drivers or a shaft that will accomodate extrovert drivers or a shaft that comes with extrovert drivers. Please .....anyone?

Ulmer is where I got mine, I went with the HD shaft and avid extro drivers. It was big bucks but he pressed them on there for me and I just installed it without having to worry about the spacing and everything.

Thanks, can't find it on the website ...I'll give them a call.
