2011 MN TY Ride. Feb 17th - Feb 20th 2011

Date Set for Feb. 17th - 20th.

The trail goes right in front of the host hotel (Chisholm Inn & Suites: 501 Iron Drive, Chisholm, Minnesota, 55719 Phone #218-254-2000). For those new to the area it is right off the main highway and very near McDonalds and the Iron Man statue. (Trust me, you'll know it when you see it!)

I plan on mustering in front of the hotel each day or possibly in the lobby. For those of you driving up Friday morning, give me an idea when you think you will get into town. If you are interested in riding Friday afternoon, I'll be sure to swing by the hotel and pick up any riders for the afternoon shift.

So is anyone up for trying another Northern Minnesota TY ride? I was thinking something early Feb. next year. While it started out a little rough last year, it turned out to be a great ride. Who would be interested?
Tom, is the burb up for another trip north?

I'm in........... If we have snow........... And hopefully I don't need to repair another A-Arm the night before!

What do you guys think about Jan 14th thru the 17th or there abouts? As far as I know it doesn't conflict with with any other TY rides. I am not avaialble the 21st -29th as I will be heading to west Yellowstone and I'd like a couple of days on either side for changing my sled over for elevation.

Otherwise it looks like the next available weekend would be around the 11th-13th of Feb. I hate to go any later than that as snow conditions around here can get marginal fast.

Same hotel as last year as it is right on the trail. Let me know what you guys think.

Jan is full for me.

Then it's Feb. 10th - 13th or Feb. 17th - 20th. The 10th - 13th is the same weekend as the western Wi. ride. Do we want to have two TY rides on the same weekend? I think the 17th - 20th is the same time we did it last year. We got our ride in the last possible weekend as we lost our snow the following week.

I'd just like to get something down on a schedule so people can start planning for it.
