Guys how do you like the mcx kits on the power steered apex and does anyone have stock on a kit in north america. PG yamaha have no kits till march. I think I am dumping my black cat, tired of bleeding from all the sharp screws when working on it. Thanks for any comments . Feels like coming home getting back on an apex. I think I will pick-up a 2011 xtx blue dealer has a smokin price on one in the showroom.

I've never been happier with a new sled then my 2012 Apex with the MCX 290 kit on it. I would definatly get an XTX as opposed the standard 128 model as there is definatley more clearence in the tunnel for studs if you want to run them. Put the most agressive ski's on it and hold on - the power steering is definatly a dream - but the stock skis do not cut it. If you cannot find a kit PM me as I may kow where one is if they still have it. So for 500 trouble free miles on mine and my buddy stone has more then that on his with no problems. Insatll is the most important thing on these, but I think you've done that a time or two.

Have a 2012 Apex xtx with the mcx 200 kit , put about 500 miles on it so far and love it . Not crazy power but a big improvement over stock without opening up motor .

200 MCX last year ran awesome , thought it was fast , then went to the 290 KIT this year WOW
An awesome ride , runs perfect , zero boost lag, running 8 lbs (approx 220 hp )when travelling , 3 turns in on the Hallman Boost Controller bumps to 14 lbs 290 hp !! when wanted , best of both worlds !!
14-15 mpg at 8 lbs

290 kit on pump........174X2.5" 16 wide.......love it. it really is my favourite sled to ride. The EPS is such a pleasure to ride on and off trail to the Alpine. Went with a tunnel dump exhuast and Mountain Mod trunk back seat this year.......huge improvemnt to the intake icing.
