Ok parked sled in trailer for the summer, went to get it out this week, pulled kill switch turned key on, dash did the sweep heard the fuel pump run, but nothing happens when I turn the key? Battery got charged and checked, checked fuse in upper area and checked both 10amp fuses at the starter relay? I'm stumped, should i tear the wire harness apart and look at the grounding plug that everyone talks about?

Does the starter solenoid click when you turn the key to crank?

i was going to suggest jumping the starter solenoid to make sure it cranks.

So I got it to start by jumping the relay, I'm thinking replace the relay? Relay does click or anything when I turn the key to the start position.

Those relays on the 11+ apex have the the sealed connector and were not prone to failing like previous apex. I would have one here you could swap out just to try.

Thanks Travis I ordered a new oem hopefully that works, if it doesn't might have to see if it's the ignition switch?

some times the contacts in the relay/solenoid carbon up over time from arcing. jumping it confirmed that the starter was not the problem as i have seen a toasted starter do the same thing.

When you turn the key to the start(crank) position, the blue/white wire at the solenoid should receive power.

Recap on the no crank problem, checked all connections and fuses good, with key on jumped the starter relay sled started and shut down when keyed off, so I replaced the starter relay bam started with the key. I guess the sealed starter relays can go bad, Thanks for all the help and suggestions!

These starter relays should be replaced every 5-7 years no matter how it looks, and with a quality unit, as some cheapy ones are known to stick in the on position.
