Will a 2012 Nytro run on 91 none ehtonal fuel. I had a 2007 apex and it would not run on none ethanol fuel. Yamaha had told me computer was only ment to run on crap fuel.
I am going to run this sled on the asphalt only. Getting closer to going testing and need to get some fuel.
Also it had a power commander 5 and auto tune and pipe. and have pod-300 to data record.

Whomever at “Yamaha” giving out this info was a total moron. Both sleds will run just fine on 91 octane fuel, ethanol blended or non-ethanol. Will they make peak power using it? No, not if they’re stock. Both motors are happiest running 87 octane when stock.

My son's 2010 Nytro runs fine on 91 octane without ethanol, so does my RS GT. Used it only to avoid ethanol, however, it is no longer available without ethanol. Thanks Justin!

I can tell you I had 2 2007 apex one was in a jr comp dragster both would run very bad on the the none ethonol gas. I put 91 pump fuel in and both ran great. Now not sure if 100 degree heat makes a difference for that but all I know it the would not run on it. I had talked to a tech guy at yamaha not my dealer.Whomever at “Yamaha” giving out this info was a total moron. Both sleds will run just fine on 91 octane fuel, ethanol blended or non-ethanol.
