Very trueCode 85 is a telling you the oil pressure switch (or sensor) is not communicating as expected with the ECU, not that the oil pressure is low.

Rolled it over on left side, let it run for a few minutes and the oil light came on. (Yellow) .
Turned it off/on , still flashing 85. Can it take a few tries for the air bubble to work out?
or should I just empty the oil out of bottom and refill?

I think the guys are on to something if just did a oil and filter change there's a chance you disturbed the switch/wiring located directly above the filter. It's a PITA but you should pull the airbox and check the wiring and switch. I hope you just elevated the r/h side when you ran it.

Take the airbox off, check if the connection is plugged in properly, if it is check if the wires are still seated in the connector. When you think you fixed it turn the key to on (not start) and you will see a bunch of codes (since the airbox is off) but 85 should have dissapeared. check to make sure the locking function is in good working order.
I will try to post a picture to show you the plug you are looking for when I get home.

You guys are good, when I did the oil change I did not plug that sensor back in. She's good to go now.
The crazy part is it took about 10 miles and on its side before the 85 started showing. Thanks so much for all the help guys!

I did the same thing in the spring lol. Moved it around a few time and it only complained this fall when I went to start it up. Not sure why it took so long.

Ok that's the problem for sure. Looks like I must have snapped off the plastic piece it mounts to in your pic above. What piece is that called. Injector? I'll have to get 2 new ones.

Is the sled still usable with this code flashing?

It will run but if you loose oil pressure you wouldn't know.

Brace yourself before you go check the price on those little guys, they're ridiculously expensive for what they are. Luckily, you can usually find used ones much cheaper!

Yup those air sensor were 260 via yamaha, picked the up used for 80. All back together again and life is good. Gotta be so careful with taking the airbox off.
