2014 and beyond..

I was under the impression that this one sled will stay in the cat chassis for 3 years as well as 5 years and 5 new sleds and motors.

Wishing for at least one of the 5 new motors designed for performance, the other 4 can be for economy.

It would make more sense to keep loyal customer in house by not telling the public if they purchased ac or any other manufacture, well till you start combining components like chassis...baby steps! HAHAHA They wont overload the consumer with too much information at once.

Seeing that it's the end of the season I decided to try my bros. 2013 1100 turbo, piped and jail broken just in case I get the urge to buy a viper next year. At least this way I have some seat time on the viper chassis.

It was the same as his last 2 F8s that I tried over the last few years. Very poor handling to say the least. The back end wants to pass the front end. Heavy darting ( he just put on pilots ). Handles the trail junk very well, pushes in the corners and feels very twitchy.

Having said this he doesn't do any tuning as far as ride is concerned so I'm sure that a lot of this could be tuned out but I'm going to wait a year and see.

Well the biggest thing they need to do is build some kind of VALUE sleds. They are all way too exspensive. A 600 Indy is 120 ISH and if u want a Yamaha u have to add 50% !!!!!!! To the price of the Indy to get on a Yammie That's just nuts . Please don't say " they have the Phazer" cause that's not a real sled its for the stand up dirt bike crowd.

They desperately need a sled priced right for those that don't want to go 100mph with a good smooth suspension and wind protection. I was totally floored by the Viper, not that it isn't going to be good but that they would come out with a Niche type sled while continuing to ignore the broader market.

Polaris is going to sell the 550 and 600 Indy by the kazillion just like Ski Doo sells tons of their 550 and 500 SS and 600 these sleds are light, ride well, and most of all are affordable for the masses

The new 600 Cat is interesting but big bucks!!! Predict they don't sell many as somebody thinking performance will jump up to their 800 or the 4 stroke. Think they missed the mark with that.
