Hello phazer guys, I really like the new xtx phazer 144 freeride 1.5" track to bridge the bumps more forgiving on the trail then the 2", new tuner skis to help with the darting issue and better handling , longer tunnel to put some gear on, one heck of a good engine not the fastest but fast enough, great out the door package. I own 2010 rtx phazer just love it.

I agree should be a great package. Are the rails tipped up?

The one they had at the show in Minneapolis had tipped-up rails.

I still have not done any true off trail riding just ditches and some powerlines.Sure would like to try it.XTX would fit the bill since Nytro front end feels heavy to me even in xtx version.Going to have to do something soon.Phazer is very hard to replace though.

That is cool that Yamaha came out with the sled I just built from my 09' RTX. I went with a 1.25 Firecat 144" track and tipped up rail extensions and my sled feels like it has an additonal 30 hp. I was happy that the sled doesnt seem any heavier or less agile with the 144" stretch. It just hooks up and goes.
The Phazer XTX would be the Phazer to buy if you were buying new. G.B.

It has the PHAZER pro-mountain which my 09' MTX has and it DOES have a tipped rails, the last 7-8" is tipped up and has roughly 128" track size contact patch on hardpack. Hopefully it comes with 9 tooth drivers and a 17t upper gear or 8 tooth with a 19t (same ratios) from the factory. I love my 09' XTX..... I mean MTX with a 1.5" freeride and GT wide front....Malibu said:It does NOT have the 6 degre tippup.it has promountain skid.yamaha-motor.com

Sounds like a nice upgrade you did to your 09rtx, and have the rtx shock package to boot. when i looked into buying a new sled the phazer was the only sled that i felt right on , easy on your legs with their upright sitting style was'nt looking for a lake racer. nytro , vector, apex, i sat to low with my big butt and long legs the phazer won hands down. i would get the xtx in a heartbeat with the package yamaha is offering if i was in the market.Gone Blue said:20/80 said:Hello phazer guys, I really like the new xtx phazer 144 freeride 1.5" track to bridge the bumps more forgiving on the trail then the 2", new tuner skis to help with the darting issue and better handling , longer tunnel to put some gear on, one heck of a good engine not the fastest but fast enough, great out the door package. Everyone I've seen is tipped up, the 07's had a different name for the skid and it got renamed "pro-mountain 144" in 08' but even the used 07' I looked a seen had tipped rails.3wheelerdude said:I thought all the 144 Phazer skids were tipped up....
