Read my usename backwards and you will know who i am, im sure mods can see my ip address. Anyhoo, since then ive had a renegade which was flawless but I didn't like, and now a high country limited which is simply incredible. I really hope Yamaha steps up this year. If there is a god, she will put a nytro motor in my proclimb chassis. Otherwize I will continue to enjoy my 165 hp 2 Suzuki 2 smoke. At least I don't have to change the oil, lol.

I think that Yami should have only built Apex's and RX's. Seems everyone wants to hate the Nytro! Then they want Yamaha to screw up the Apex and turn it into a Nytro clone. The (RX) Apex is the best groomed trail sled ever built. Leave it alone!

Mess with the Nytro but don't wimp up the Apex.

Here is what is possible - Nytro engine in a custom chassis with Polaris Pro RMK geometry. The mountain guys are doing all kinds of crazy things. A short track version of this sled would be pretty sweet as well. Makes me wonder if there is any money in offering custom frames? Figure out a great design, have one of the companies in Taiwan build it as they build many high end bicycle frames that are actually more advanced and complicated, and offer the frame for sale for $1,000-$2,000.

I still love Chris Reids goal of a 500 lb, 200 HP Yamaha sled. Hurry up and bring it. I,m 63 years old, and not getting any younger. Give it to us, while we can still enjoy it. LOL

Being a trail rider only that machine has absolutely zero use to me.

I'm really hoping for a lightweight (sub 500 lbs) nimble sled with about 100 hp. Got to tell ya, I rode a friend's ACE 600 MXZ and you could throw it around like nothing...all that was missing was a little more pop off the line and top speed wasn't quite there. If Skidoo comes out with a mid level ACE motor next year...watch out, I may just be on one.
