A little detail on what you are experiencing and expecting might be helpful. I have no issues with my 2020 and I don't recall a history of complaints on this forum.

Riding on a groomed trail (trail is packed snow with bumps that are what would be expected after a days use with riders using) with passenger on the back hits that hard after 10 kms not driving over 30 to 40 kms/hr wife is ready to walk .Grand daughter who is 8 yrs old has to wait for us on her 200 sno scoot.I have checked shocks for operation and tried adjusting shock spring preload and medium to soft on springs. My 06 was excellent and no issues .

I may be misunderstanding you. Are you saying you are bottoming out? If so I think I'd be going firmer on the springs, not softer.
