Hello,

My fan quit working this weekend after getting wet from the wash I gave the sled (engine was running while I rinsed).

I checked the fan fuse and it was indeed blown, but after replacing it, the fan refused to kick on while I let the running temp reach 220 F.

Is there another fuse, like one in-line? Can the fan motor fail by getting wet while under power?

Thanks for reading.

The fan is powered through the fan relay and fuse. The relay is controlled by the ECU. Did the fuse for the fan blow again? You may have gotten water in the fan and it's shorted out which in time might dry out and correct the issue. Blowing compressed air through the fan motor might help dry it faster. If the problem persists disconnect the fan and probe the connector for 12 volts to diagnose the problem.
