I know Pilot 6.9s but I have a chance to try a set of almost new AC skis that were taken off a
17 ZR 9000 complete with new 6 inch slim Jim carbides. If I like them I can have them for $150. I planned on ordering the 6.9's this week but now these came up. Will they bolt up to my Sidewinder using my hardware and rubber? Has anyone tried these skis and liked them over the terrible tuners?

Yup. Love them on my 17 winder 137". The HAVE to be shimmed though. This changes the angle of the carbide running on the ground. When shimmed properly the Carbide will wear EVENLY front to back.

Also tried (800 miles) a set of SLT skis and did not care for them. I still have them with orange loops on them and a set of damn expensive woodies carbides!

Try them, for a buck fiftey, what have you got to lose ?

I put AC skis on my 18 RTX. Bolts and spacers are the same. I just went ahead and bought the AC rubber stoppers. They are different than the original Yami stoppers. You might be able to trim and shim the Yami stoppers but the AC ones are cheap and fit in the ski better. I also ordered red AC ski loops for the AC skis since the original Tuner loops are a whole different animal and won't bolt on. But that was a mistake because it is a different shade of red and looks like crap. So just go with the black ones.

Tried curves and prefer the procross skis. Easy to turn, hold a line well, at 150 well worth money!!:)

Tried AC pro cross Skis with slim Jim's shimmed 300 miles wed and Thurs... Didn't love them...I liked the triple points with ski savers better.... They'll be for sale because I've got some Mohawks to run
