X2, IMO this lineup and snow check program is to help the dealer's clear out inventory before they pull the plug, less commitment this year then ever! To my point , just look at Yamaha's mountain segment for 2019 . Or should I say there ""ONLY"" mountain sled for 2019! The only growing segment in the entire industry that the other 3 OEM's are doubling down on and Yamaha cuts back! That speaks volumes about the future of there sled division! Another post has said Yamaha was a no show at an event in NH. and also this weekends Sno-Fest up in Old Forge NY. It's a moot point anyway! It's only a matter of time till Textron looses interest and gets tired of that little snowmobile division and there bean counters pull the plug on Cat! Like the Yamaha big wig said in the Sno-Trax video ""YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET"" !!! Well he wasn't kidding!!

I was hoping for big news, but this was the biggest news of all, a white flag flying over Yamaha headquarters. I wonder if the head of the Yamaha snowmobile division is going to meet with the heads of Polaris, Ski Doo and Arctic cat for a formal ceremonial surrender to take place?

Good article! Seems like a smart business move, I would do the same thing if I were in their position. All manufacturers have reduced their line-ups for a reason...no point in bringing something new to the table if there’s still a ton of leftovers to be dealt for cheap!

19's are Spring only. It sounds like they still have 17 and 18s in stock at warehouses that dealers can order.

Check the Canadian website, its much easier to understand. They have split the LE models which are Spring Order only and the rest of the Lineup for 2019.

Does anyone KNOW if you can order the electronic shock package in any other models as an option? Looking to possibly upgrade, but would not be into a 1" lug on an SRX, and not a fan of the Yellow/Blue combo. Like the red and white L-TX SE model or the black and grey L-TX-DX model, but neither have that shock package.

might be cheaper to get the SRX and change out the track.

Customer loyalty Yamaha? Really? So the Scandinavia market gets a 2 stroke Yamaha, (I don't care if its a cat engine!) and the North American market gets we are a 4 stroke only company! What?
