Well there are 2 schools of thought.Yes they did get the new Plastics.. I just cant for the life of me understand why EVERY sled coming out of the cat plant doesn't get them. including yamaha
Yam wants to tell us that they have too many leftovers, so this will help things by reducing models for next year.
Or
IMO, YAM is on their way out of sleds.....to simply becoming an engine supplier. Noone here likes to hear this but Ive been saying it for yrs, and it sucks and is sad...but I think this shows it.

Yes you may be right Dan.. When I look at the 19 line up its surely looks thin and very basic(as a whole). Sad deal if yamaha gets out

Does it look like the plastic by the knees is glossy not matte?

Just got back from dealer and watched 2019 "Dealer Video". Pretty sad. Two older guys (60ish) sitting on SRX's and trying to be cheerleaders and put a positive spin on everything. Telling dealers' how great things will be. Didn't recognize either of them. Looked like "bean counters", not the the younger, more "aggressive" type you would hope to see on an SRX. Almost looked like the older corporate guys that get transferred late in their careers to just "go through the motions" in an unimportant division of a large conglomerate until their retirement or the demise of that division. Sad.

A local dealer here says he has reliable info from yam that there will be 2 new sleds from Japan for 2020. New chassis. All Yamaha. I think your first theory makes most sense Dan. Here hoping.
Blue/green looks terrible imo, and $20,499cdn for an SRX is bananas. SO, an ‘18 at 0% financing seems to make most sense... which is what Yamaha is hoping for I believe!
I’m torn on what to do now that the insurance company owns my wrecked sled!

Man the LTX- LE color is ugly, puke s--- ugly! What were they thinking ?
The only interesting model imo is the srx for trail sled.

Hi-Vis/ blue looks awesome. Anyway, what are your sled options?
No more 129". Sorry, but big fricking Boooooooooooo! Glad I have one that will now be up in value. Not that I'd ever sell it, especially now.

1.6” cobra on LTX-LE for 2019 with lower gearing.
SE and DX has the shorter lugged track.

I agree with you 100 per cent Dan . I think you hit it right on the head. Only thing that makes sense to me as well.. I been a business man most of my life. Good call on that one Dan . Will be very Sad when we loose Yamaha Snowmobiles. I really do believe the warming shorter Winters There no room for 4 snowmobile companies to make money anymore. And Yamaha do sale the least amount of snowmobilesWell there are 2 schools of thought.

No one is curious about the “new clutch callibrations” mentioned on snowgoer?! I’ll be asking my dealer about it first thing...

I’m sure they did. It was so easy for Yamaha to test. Just check ty , the aftermarket world did the testing. No one is curious about the “new clutch callibrations” mentioned on snowgoer?! I’ll be asking my dealer about it first thing...

I mentioned it earlier, including new helix and clutch components, but apparently you and I are the only ones interested in their changes to alleviate heat and belt blowing.
