Still cant see the skid but judging by where the scratcher comes down sure looks like a monorail. On Facebook, any truth to it?

100% this is yamahas version of the Riot X. It says 146 on the tunnel unless this is the new XTX.

Tbone who are considered the experts here, I ride with guys that have the new Poo and Doo iron and I disagree the pro cross front suspension is way better in my opinion and the rear is very close, it may lack alittle to the Poo on bigger bumps and the Doo we'll all i can say is you couldn't give me one of those G-4 things. All over the trail and high side like no tomarow. Any way Yamaha is not known there suspension and never will be.
The snowmobile magazines and snowmobile channels on the internet is who I was referencing as the "experts". They get to at least get to ride all the sleds back to back with lots of miles in different conditions. You obviously have to take what they say with a grain of salt and factor in their favorites or who is buying advertising. But you have to do that with everybody about everything today. I was speaking specifically about the rear suspension in my previous post. Front suspension is a different story. They say Pol, AC, and then SD for front end handling. Again that's according to the experts.
No idea why Yamaha has not been able to make a good rear suspension. Makes no sense with the assets they have at their disposal. I feel its their culture and development process that keeps them from succeeding. Hopefully thats something they got out of the AC partnering agreement.

Being towed by what looks like a red SRVenture DX.
I'm still hoping for a mid sized sled...

Look closely, it can't be alpha skid, all 3 have the torsion spring style aluminum key at the top rear skid mount, possibly a riot torsion uncoupled skid. The original photo they seem to be referencing. Broken Alpha style skid possibly? Looks like it might be a mountain sled.

Alpha skid is supposed to be exclusive to cat, so riot skid and bng, unless there's a new motor?

One thing i love is a painted tunnel. I really despise bare tunnels. I know it shouldn't impact how a sled is judged but it makes a big difference to me. I really like that blue on blue sled. Srx maybe?

Looks like piggy back shocks and short lug track.
