I know more people looking to get rid of Polaris and get INTO a Sidewinder/T-Cat than people that want out.
It just takes one ride on these things to see how good they can be compared to the offerings from the others....

The Pro Cross with the Apex name on it? Yamaha wouldn't dare lower themselves.

I would like to see an all yamaha sled with the 998turbo in it. It would be fast.
But I won't get rid of my sidewinder either.
Its been a turn key and go sled all winter since I fixed the inherent issues from Cat.

I would like to see a refined primary clutch from Yamaha.. MORE material where the set screw goes in that holds the pin/weights. Maybe make them a little quieter? How about a better designed drive shaft/bearing? And maybe the kashima coated shocks for spring order guys? Not asking much at all! O and a really cool looking black/orange / NO more grey!

Check the gray T-cat out on youtube. Real on the snow photos. That gray is far darker in life than in photos.
co-worker who is looking to get rid of his Vr-1 didnt like the gray when he saw it in the pictures. I showed him the vidieo of it on the snow. He liked it and may buy one depending on what Yamaha comes out with. Either way, he is getting a 998 turbo.

I guess its the front suspension spindles/and suspension I just cant get over.. Its like they keep making them a weird color? You cant wrap them really.
I do know what your saying about seeing it in person though.. The Yamahas would have to all be butt ugly for me to go Thunder.

Been a few years since we had some white in a sidewinder? How about a nice orange/white? LOL
White is a tough color to keep clean but it sure looks nice IMO

Not much chatter on the 22 Yamahas? I just hope they don't use GREY in all the sidewinders! ENOUGH grey already.. Anyone ordering a new Sidewinder? I just sold my old one and getting a little jacked up for the release.. I'm the only fool hoping for a surprise of some sort? New clutch? something? How about a green and blue sidewinder? LOL
I’ll be ordering a ‘22 SW. After tomorrow, I’ll decide which model. Also going to get a Venom, a Venture and a 200.

Gotta say I have been riding with my bud for 4 years. He has a 17 viper. We literally have riding over 13k together. 11-12 him in his viper me on my Windèr. He is ordering a Windèr. He is NOT A BIG SPEED guy or racer. Matter fact he rode mine tined a few times and said no way that’s to much. Well after gassing together and my sled just below him in mileage at the pump and him seeing mine start and run flawlessly in extreme cold. I got him convinced. He is going turbo and will keep it 100% stock. The turbo is just such a great running and starting motor. Not even in the same zip code as far as I’m concerned. I really feel this motor from Yamaha is truly amazing. Yes it has a few short comings. Like the ROV. Just run the delete and keep it skis down! There’s 2kinds of people, those with a turbo, and those that wish they had one
That’s the stupid Chinese Cat Ecu in Viper making it start and idle like a Methanol Drag car! You saw how mine started. One try.
