Installed my BOP's oil tank gasket over the summer. Rode the sled this past weekend, no leaks.

How is the bop gasket holding up for everyone. Is it the solution. I’ve resealed a lot of tanks with the best stuff and after a year or two they all leak. ( or almost all).
I’d love to hear some real world experience with the bop gasket.

Going into 2nd year with mine after 1500 miles last year and no leaks. Usually when pulled out from summer storage I always had one using Yamaha yamabond. How is the bop gasket holding up for everyone. Is it the solution. About twenty minutes run time so far! No leaks. Lol. That’s about to change in the next 10 days.

I'm not sure what the best stuff is, but I used regular old Ultra Black silicone years ago and all is still fine 5500 mile later and still going strong. Funny thing is I just put the sealant on the tank and tightened it all right back up, didn't wait and then torque down after it set a bit.
Somewhere on TY a fella reported his BOP rubber gasket went brittle and leaked out the oil very quickly and rapidly, somewhere around 2500 miles or so. Its the only report I've seen like that.

Any change or new recommendations on what sealant to use?
I order a gasket from Travis but something happened with the shipment and not sure where it is.
I would like to leave for sledding this Thursday

Be sure to follow the directions for the sealant. You do not want to tighten the bolts until the sealant has cured for a number of hours first. Just barely snug them and let it sit for the recommended time before torqueing them down.Perfect thanks

I used Permatex Right Stuff after my BOP gasket blew out from a frozen ROV and frozen bypass (my fault). Only 1 trip and ~300 miles so far and good to go. Also deleted the ROV so I shouldn't have any issues going forward.
