Fixed it last night with BOP gasket. The factory sealant was very different than previously. The tank literally fell apart when the screws were removed and the entire bead of sealer came right off in one big piece. There was a decent quanity of it but didnt seem to have any bond to it. Get well!O man they got you also! I got the BOP gasket on the mail here yesterday. Hoping to make it one more trip the way it’s weeping ever so slightly. No shape to do anything > got the vid. Let us know your fix, besides a trip to TRF for a seminar !! What’s funny is I actually thought mine was ever so slight wet with oil from day one. Nothing the average guy would notice. I swear mine was ever so weep from NEW.

I noticed the same when I did mine last week. It pulled off with (almost) no cleanup required. Hoping this BOP gasket does the trick. Will run it for the first time on the lake today and heading to Hurley next Wednesday with no backup sled if if leaks.

Bummer, we head up on the 12th and head home on the 16th. This is our first time in the area. PM me some good destinations lol. Would enjoy connecting with you sometime though.

Ya I had almost no clean up. Was super quick to prepare for gasket but unfortunately I dont think this stuff they are using will work for anybody.I noticed the same when I did mine last week. Yes I lightly trimmed it but honestly I think it would of been fine without it. The gasket barely touches those areas. Should do the trick I think.Did you trim the gasket where Travis talks about in his video?

I agree, it was very rubbery like oil had penetrated the sealant. Sad design in my opinion.

Today after 2300 miles the BOP gasket gave up today. After inspecting it appears to have gotten brittle. Left quite a trail thought a hose was leaking!

I have 5400 + miles on my re-done old Black Silicone sealer thus far with no signs of leakage. Did the ROV delete at the same time.

That's what I'm fearful of. Put 30 local miles on today and all seems well. I'll leave it in for now.

Well thats the first gasket failure ive read about so far so 1 gasket failure we know about. Will keep an eye on it and if it doesnt hold up ill reseal it, no biggie. I did my 2020 and its been good for almost 3000 miles so far. Would of sealed this one too but wanted to complete my service and go ride so grabbed the gasket I already had and slapped it in vs waiting for sealant to cure.
