100% of US SPS orders being filled, only 91% of Canadian orders????? I think I like Yamaha better when they were built in Japan.

What everyone has to remember, Yamaha does want to sell you a sled . After reading, & talking to dealerships all manufacturers are having problems. Everything from Guys Mach Z is in but no ecu , no delivery date . Buddies Xcr was to be delivered dec 15 , dealer called him Friday, “ around “ Jan 31 . It’s not just Yamaha , just a bad situation for buyers & the manufacturers .

I think most owners like when Yamaha's were built in Japan. Most of the posts on this forum are addressing problems with Yamaha's since the partnership with Arctic Cat. The engineers are not listening to this forum as there is a list of 20 items that even current 2022 Sidewinders need to be addressed by riders out of the crate. What happened to the days when you could buy a Yamaha, follow the recommended maintenance schedule in the manual, replace a few wear parts that were readily accessible in three days or less and ride without worrying about 20 plus issues stranding a rider?VLOG #24 – 2022 Yamaha Snowmobiles Delivery Update | On this episode of Sled Talk, Jaret is joined by Chris Poirier and Dan Rivito, sales managers for Yamaha Motor Canada and Yamaha Motor USA respectively.... | By Yamaha SnowmobilesFacebook

In reality, it was like that with my 2010 Phazer, which was built in Japan. A reverse issue requiring a shim to be added to the stock clutch, loose steering issues after 1000KM requiring disassembly of the front of the sled, and aftermarket parts be installed to resolve the dangerous play that resulted from cheap factory bushings. I know these sleds were built to a price point so some of this should be expected. It's the quality of the fit and finish that is paramount in my books, I am hoping that selling my "made in Japan" sleds for a YamaCat wasn't a mistake. I am willing to wait for what I hope is an excellent ride, design flaws excepted.I think most owners like when Yamaha's were built in Japan.
