Yamaha's are just better looking period.
The Green, Gray, Brown thing just doesn't work for me

I agree, although I'm a green fan, but the gray, blue, brown they've been using lately makes them the 998 red-headed stepchild lol

When I bought my Winder there was no comparison between the look of the Cat and Yamaha. The Yamaha looked so much better and they still do today.
At the time I also wanted the Yamaha clutching because I had such good luck with them in my Apex and FX Nytro. I have since changed my mind and would go Cat because I think the Cat clutches are by far better. Cat has been improving the durability of their clutching ever since and I think Yamaha has done pretty much nothing. I would sacrifice the good looks of the Yamaha for the Cat clutching.
