- 2025 Yamaha Sidewinder SRX LE #460
2024 Yamaha Wolverine RMAX4 Limited Edition
Hi All
Getting ready to get my 25 Sidewinder SRX LE ready for season. I am going to run the factory 1" lug track. Looking for recommendations on what studs and setup to run on a stock SRX that will be ridden on groomed trails.
Thinking going with 144 studs with 8" Woodys Executive series carbides on front
Track Studs - Woodys Megabite Two-Ply Stud 1.325" - 144 pcs
Is this a setup anyone uses or do you recommend another setup or different stud length??
thanks for the help.

yes, my error lilke asking what oil to run in your 4 stroke or muscle car. Talked with Allen at Ulmer and took his recommendation. Sure everyone know on here, but super knowledgeable and helpful on all things Yamaha. Also purchased drivetrain durability kit he sells for the Sidewinder. Looking forward to the upcoming season. 144 studs 1.325" woodys mega bites with woodys round digger backers. 3 studs per row up the center
It's definitely not for lack of helpfulness that people are reluctant to reply. This topic has been beaten to death with dozens of threads and hundreds of opinions, but I am certain you would find plenty of studding info on exactly what you're looking for.
That said, Allen is a great source of information and I'm sure he will steer you in the right direction. Good luck with the new Sled!
