I say if you don't like the RX-1 sell the sled don't run them into the ground it just makes yamaha technology look bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :evil: :evil:

I have always said that Yamaha doesnt care at all about us westerners. I stand by that. They gave us the awesome 00 SRX, but forgot to stick a track under it, then brought out the Yamahawg. 700 lb mountain sled?
What the hell are they thinking. Then the real trouble is, I get one, the very thing I swore to never buy, ride up and down the street 27 times, and take it to the mountains. It is NOT a mountain climber by any stretch of the mimagination, but its a helluva lot of fun. I am glad I bought one. Now all I need is the new skid, tunnel, 159 track, MASSIVE QTY OF LIGH WEIGHT PARTS, and maybe some year a turbo. In any case, Yamaha is on the right path, these things are a hoot. Marc go ride your free cats, you seem to have hated your free rx1 since day one. :roll: hehe
What are your sponsors going to say, after throwing you truckloads of stuff for Yamaha, and you cut bait and run to the ditch pickle field?

ken i still race yamaha not the RX1 TON
and no i loved my rx1 on asphalt . but its sucks on snow you need longer then 1200 feet to realy get it to go . there is no drag as of yet over 660 feet so why have somthing that you cant run ..
hey it is a very well made sled but not for what i use them for .

I STILL HAVE A 2001 SRX AND A 2003 VIPER AND A MONSTER REMEBER THE MONSTER HERE IS A PIC
ALSO I HAVE A REV B.M.7c 800 HO
AND NOW A F6 AND A F7 2004 THE F6 IS A FIGHTER PILOT AND THE F7 IS A NIGHT FIRE .. ,THE OTHER SLEDS ON MY TEAM ARE REV440X,PRO X800 ,REV600HO,F5, MY OLD F7, AND A VIPER IMP , SXR 600.
98% OF MY SPONSERS ARE NOT JUST FOR YAMAHA . THAT IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS I HAVE MANY SPONSERS IS CAUSE I RUN ALL BRANDS .. SKI-DOO, ARCTIC CAT , YAMAHA .. AND 1 DAM POO..
SO REALY YOU GUYS SHOULD NOT WORRIE TOO MUCH ABOUT MY SPONSER'S .

My god guys why don't you go duke it out and get it over with huh? Geesh!!!!!! I for one realize that the RX 1 is not the fastest thing on snow but I sure as hell love the smooth power and the sound of the 4Stroke.
Just like someone else said. There's always someone faster! The RX1 is suppossed to compete with the 700's. And guess what it does compete and even beat most stock 700's. Atleast the Shorties do!

Fastest is all relative to how you look at it. Forever long WOT runs, and RX1 is THE fastest (when taking into account the other machine either running out of gas or BLOWING UP).....
I've been beaten in 1/8 mile by an Exciter. It was, at least, *MY* Exciter that I was beat with, LOL. It is ONE FAST BEAST of an Exciter.... at least until it hits 90 mph when it falls on its face - best speed on radar 95 mph in 1/3 mile. Also, I will not claim that the Exciter is stock, 'cause its not <G>. Somebody find me an F7 to race to 1/8.
