WTF 5 Studs pulled through in 1800 miles. The dealer installed them. I did some research and the Ripsaw 2 track is single ply. The dealer used Woodys signature series studs which have the small head 15/16. Should have used the Grand Masters with the 1.20 head. Any thought? I think the dealer should be replacing my track

That's crappy. Rtx or ltx? I'm a big fan of double backers. Have 96 megabytes with double backers in the nytro with 5000 miles and no pull outs or even bent ones.

I could be wrong but I thought ripsaw 2's came either double or single ply and I think the vipers have the double.

Your right they do and the viper came with the double ply !Mazz said:I could be wrong but I thought ripsaw 2's came either double or single ply and I think the vipers have the double.
You could try to get them to help you out but they don't know how you drive your sled as in spining the track on pavement or riding off trail running over down trees and such , studding is at your own risk.
same problem here with oe 2 ply track. according to tech support at woodies, this is news to them. started switching out the singles to the single ply versions. no issues with them pulling tight over the quiet lugs btw. actaully sit flatter that the standard studs imo

How many studs are you running? This isn't a high hp sled but keep in mind that it is more than likely the most instant torque of any sled on the market. 800s and cat turbos produce much more hp than the viper but the power takes a bit to build up on those sleds where as the viper is instant and has a lot of torque. If you aren't studded very heavy and are riding hard on some not so good of conditions I can see studs pulling through. I have 1000 miles and have done a lot of drag racing with no bent or ripped out studs and I'm running 1.5" studs, but I have 160 of them so the stress put on the track is not very intense compared to using only 96 studs
