How did you do that, that is a rubbery, textured part? Billett?

No billet buddy, that is the stock bumper I modified, shaved, & used fiberglass resin to make it look that way. I then painted it here at my body shop and then sent it to the plastic chromer. I got about 30 hours and 150 bucks into that little sucker.......................Cubby

Cubby, Very nice! You definately need a horn out of a Cadillac to go with the deep chrome treatment you gave the bumper! It reminds me of a time when the chrome was thick and upscale cars (Buicks) sported port holes in the sides of their hoods.

Nice job

so how long before we can expect to see the whole thing?

Its funny how when you need to get something done at work for yourself that it takes for ever to get someone to do it for ya. My hood has been fixed and primed and sitting in the paint shop of my work for about 3 months now. I bug my head painter everyday to paint the friggin thing. I am hoping to have the old slab of a sled ready for you guys to critique by the end of november................Cubby

Hey bro, I thought you might like that front bumper. And I did like your thread about the donations too. I mean look at what happened just yesterday, Sasquatch needed help with a clear tail light and I got him on the right track. If this was any other bugus forum he would have still been trying to get the right tail light for his sled. We gotta get Tom that new server so we can continue to help guys on this forum.(I had to snail mail my donation to him)

And by the way Bounty, because of you causing my heart attack the doc said I cant have any spicy foods for a while either,Heheheh...............Cubby
