I used the Artic Cat kit on my Viper. It was a simple plug-and-play. Does the same kit work on The Sidewinder?

Is the Heat Demon weather proof? I had an ad on unit that we use in the automotive industry. On the last ride last year it rained hard and burned the unit out along with my seat cover and bibs.
The RX1 seat cover has little holes in it.

I have the Moose brand one with one setting. Its just perfect temp for Railroad grades. Everywhere else it never gets warm enough to notice since my butt isn't on the seat long enough!

Well its crazy they do not mention it in the install directions.. I put a 2 or 3 amp inline in mine.. I cant remember exactly. I even contacted them about putting one in.. they did contact me back.. Kinda strange they dont recommend the fuse.. My riding buddy is a electrical engineer. SO in went the fuseI will have to check. Thought I put a fuse in it but maybe not.

I don't see the two wire plug that the Viper has to get power. On the Viper it was just behind oil tank.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about adding a heated seat to my Apex. Trying to choose between adding the winder element or the demon. 30 watts for the demon doesn't sound like much.
Anybody have experience with both that can make a recommendation?
