Adding inline fuel filter

These are the ones I got and the gates barricade hose

I crimped one with the tool PXL_20221101_232102024_copy_1536x2040.jpg

So according to this chart

An 8an fitting requires about 25 ftlbs of torque. That seems a bit high. These are the fittings I'm using https://www.urotuning.com/products/...rb-fitting-8an-orb-5-16?variant=8311027433527

Apologies for all these questions, it's the first time I'm doing this.

Your pic shows an o-ring fitting, not a 37 deg flare AN fitting the torque chart was made for. I hope you have the right filter for this o-ring type male hose barb fitting.
You'll feel the fitting bottom into the filter - it will just stop. IMO, once it bottoms, I'd put about 15-18 ft lbs on it. With oring, it won't leak as long as it doesn't come loose.

The fuel filter referenced in this thread is no longer available. Would this one work? It shows 88 GPH at 61.4psi and it already comes with 5/16" fittings. Seems like 88 GPH would be enough.

I would also buy their Vapor Guard hose clamps but I don't know if the hose on my 2017 is actually 5/16" ID (which is just slightly smaller than 8mm... 7.9375mm to be exact).

This has the barbed ends. Easy pease.
There fuel pumps work well also instead of a walbro....if anybody is interested...amazon is where i get mine in the past, less worry about china knock off's of walbros.

The Earl's one that I posted also has "barbed" fittings... just a different type of barb. Regardless, since I wouldn't be using their Vapor Guard hose, I will probably just order the one that you posted... but from Elite Race Fab (cheaper even after the coupon).

That DeatschWerks DWFF55c inline filter shows that it flow 200 LPH which converts to 52.83 GPH. Is that enough for the stock fuel pump? I see that the Walbro GSS342 that most go to when they upgrade is rated for 255 LPH. I don't have a need for the Walbro pump at this time with my TD PowerTrail PM tune but I have no idea what the stock fuel pump flows

Are you using this filter (or anyone that you know)?
