Did anyone weigh their aftermarket weights that either came with their kits or after loaded to recommended specs?

My Thunder products weights were 66gs
Ulmer 72gs
Very interesting

Different grams of weight are needed to match the primary spring used in aftermarket clutch kits...that is why the difference in weight. You can run a lighter spring and lighter weights and get same results or better in some cases.

So many variables:
Starting gram weight
Profile of weight
Where to add weight on clutch weight
Primary spring used
Roller size
What engagement rpm
What total shift out

That was just the primary

OSP weights loaded 10 grams over stock. 82.5. The weights appear to have the exact profile as stock. Stock primary spring.

Curious about that setup, how's it working? Engagement speed? Other clutching changes to compliment?

2800 engagement just like stock. Very snappy corner to corner. Secondary stock just shimmed. Cat rollers. Have not had conditions to test top speed. Actually no conditions now.:o|

Thanks, arghhh west Michigan here and no conditions either. Thinking about the U.P. this wknd.

I have a set of OSP weights for sale if anyone interested with 100 miles on. $125 plus S/H.

I thought it was very easy. Didn't even remove the primary clutch. Now the beartrap spring on my 700 improver......:die
Yes I installed mine without removing the clutch, longer stiffer springs are a pain in the #*$&@ that's why I like shorter less stiff springs. Just my preference.

Been a big fan of the Daltons for long time, I think the ease of adjusting them on the sled is where they shine. Great fast changes in slug weight for tuning day on the gun...;)

Likely will try the 70 base weight(all else stock clutching), which should cover TD Powertrail from a stock modded muffler all the way up to a free flowing, keeping things around 8900 to 9100 range.

Which is the more aggressive flyweight? Dalton or thunder?
