So, if I put an A/F gauge in, it will show me where I am lean or rich, is that right? Do the MCXpress kits have a location for the sensor? if not, where can I mount the sensor, what kind etc? This is on a Vector. I wanted to do a simple, sleeper type setup, with no additional gauges etc. but after reading this forum, I am thinking a few gauges might save some grief. Air/ fuel, boost and fuel pressure. Recommendations appreciated.

Yes it will show you when/where you are lean or rich. It is a VERY good idea to have one. A boost gauge is a must in my opinion.
I personally don't think a fuel pressure gauge is needed on a full time basis. If something isn't working you install fuel pressure to diagnose then you remove it.

the sensor goes in your exit exhaust. when you buy a Gauge and sensor it should come with a bung. Have it welded in prior to the installation

If anyone is interested here it a Air/Fuel that I have in stock they come in both 2 1/16 or 2 /58 and also comes in silver wjite and black faces and have 20 led's the cost is $58.00 US There also is a cup that you can mount it into availble in either chrome or gray. They do not come with the sensor though.

No bad intension from me 4kops but that a/f gauge is real nice but,
in a car ... i tried one on a sled and the problem is it is unreadable
during the day (sunlight). at night it's real nice but...
i use custom made high intensity led's rectangular gauges with a
dimmer switch at night (blinding)

Is anyone running the Bully Dog digital double guage? EGT and Boost guage combined. I have one ordered. It looks like the guage on the CPR turbo sled in Jeff's drag strip video.

Yah I run bully dogs egt /boost guage with memory and play back, works great! Nice to be able to take a run up a hill then flip the switch after to see your peak boost. I think I mounted the pyrometer to close to the turbo(about 2" in front of turbo) cause I get some wild readings like in the 1400's.I should have put it closer to the motor but that's to much like work. I did have to send them back the guage mid season cause of a moisture problem or something(the guage just flatlined) but they were very good about it and sent me out a new on right away.

ran mine on sunday with the new gauge was hared to read as it was in the ditch and hard packed snow with lots of tracktion. just bairly reached half way more like 1/3 from rich may need to jet down but will have to try it in the hills soon where it wont be so rough and will be able to hold it better. i put my o2 2.5" befor turbo (room). it's the new auto meter C2 model. pulls
What I want to know is how did you get pictures of an RX on 1/1/2001? Did you do some early test riding for Yammie
