AIR/FUEL METER READINGS ON MCX APEX

Just curious why does the A/F have to go after the turbo? Heat or pressure issue? It should be the same ratio before or after. I have mine about 8" after the turbo with the Boondockers. Just make sure it is on the high side so oily liquid doesn't run down over it.

If you read Inovate's installation instructions it tells you NOT to let the sensor see over 900 degree's without a temp. isolator. Temps are way over that anywhere close to the turbo. I mounted mine just before the muffler and it's working OK. :D

Power and engine life is better at wide open throttle at 12:1. 13:1 ratio's are OK for light throttle cruise

I don't have a wideband (i'm to cheap) but it sounds lean at 15-16 lbs wot, its not popping but just sounds like its cooking. I have the baro sensor hooked to intercooler and the co's set at -6. inline fuel pump and the 17 lb map......I'd like a new map with a little more fuel at w.o.t. just to be safe. What are you guys reading with your widebands at w.o.t.? thanks

I'm also running straight av gas 100ll so I think this may be leaning me out a bit too.

I am at 12 right now and reading 11.5-11.6 at wot. I will be cranking it up and will let you know what it is reading. I am running 50/50 with C-12 race fuel.

I have the 310 kit and have the hose disconnected because it was too rich at around 11 now it is upper 12's and lower 13's but at least bog is good. runs great set comp. at -6 ,this is at 9000', air cleaner mounted out the back. Runs great at 17lbs.
