I did a search but didnt find anything and was wondering if anyboby is changing the air horns on the air box like the ones they sell for the street bike motor. They claim more power on the street bike at lower rpm . They are longer and I think larger dia.
Has anybody tried to mod those at all ?

from what i have read on the bike forums the aftermarket offers two lengths, 50 and 59mm. the longer ones produce power at a lower rpm, making them good for bikes. the sleds use the 50mm length for high rpm running. the difference is they are made of aluminum instead of rubber, possibly better for airflow but not very practical for our sleds. the latest r1 bikes have variable intake tracts, maybe it will make it to the sleds.
