I see factory tunnel protectors so I assume I am ok. Do I just rip out my drill and follow the woody's template for 144 inside and out? After reading all this stuff on here, I'm nervous that I'm going to get it all studded then jack it up the first time I ride it and have to replace my tunnel. I am using 1.325 inch studs.

You're fine, get to work
I recommend a track cutting tool for the drill. It will get hot and courterize the belt cords as it cuts.

I have a track cutting tool and the first thing I thought was "boy, this must get hot" LOL. So what are all these issues with people studding their tracks. I have looked a thousand times and I can't see any interference except right up the middle on the shock so I am going 144 in and out and it stays clear of everything.
DAMN I hate being a nervous fool

The issues are mainly where the studs go. Alot of us have had premature track life due to the studs ripping out from the outer edges of the track. If you are real aggressive I might suggest to just stud the middle only.

I also suggest just studding up the middle. I did this last year with excellent results
I studded my Attak the same way.
