I rely on Fishing, Hunting, ATVing, Boating, and Camping to get myself through summer, but still Snowmobiling is in my mind 24/7.
Winter is almost here, days are getting shorter already!

i check this site an all the snowmobile magazine sites everyday just to keep me in the snowmobiling mood. personally i would skip summer and have more fall & winter.i hunt for moose in northern ontario with my grizzly and as soon as this is done i drool for snow. could use two more months of winter and we already have five over here

I want another winter like 1996-97 when there was over a foot of snow on the ground by mid November, the trails were groomed and ready on 1 December, and the season lasted until mid April. There were also no winter thaws that year.

I remember that one bought my first sled spring of 97 anticipating the next year would be just as good what happened : )

Great winter that was. Presque Isle got 27 inches right after 8 and 11 inchers, when there was a bunch of snow before any of those 3 storms started.
We were feeding starving deer at the pit stops. My wifes cousin, on what he thought was the trail (he had ridden that trail for over 20 years) crashed into the upper part of the windshield of a van parked up against a snowbank.
Unlike the pic below, snow was stacked higher than the eves of the cabin garage.

I'm that way too ... but it would have been nice to have it both ways, like snow in the mountains and nice and warm summer weather at sealevel.. that would have been something huh.
Soon parts will start arriving and modding my sled will make me forget about summer for a while.

Can´t wait for winter! Too many bugs, too hot and most of all, not enough snow in summer. I wish it would be october and it was snowing allready.... I´d test my new RipSaw track.
