They run that in the field of a sportsmans club property in Woodgate NY. So it was a soft track with a sandy start... little traction. The track conditions played a huge roll this year.

the pictures show the yami's on snow, and the others on dirt! i think thats a bunch a CRAP!

Does this mean that the Apex didn't win anything this time around? #$%&*
yep,you got it.but we get better gas mileage than those other 3 at 150hp!

Personally, I think this test means absolutelly nothing. I don't do my riding w.o.t. at a 1/4 mile at a time, especially on sand and I don't think that many other guys ride that way either. It's just a bunch of usleless hype used to fill up the magazine pages.

True. I still remember the 11 second Formula III triples in a quarter...LOL...I was stupid enough to buy one. I liked it anyway, though..
This is why people look so strange when a heavy Apex waxes thier brand new super lightweight hi po two strokes....I think they go back to the magazines for consolation.

WHat is the correct Apex H.P. and Torque #'s? Is the magazine correct with 146.1 HP and 75.4 Torque????????

I was wondering the same on the Torque of the Apex.. That can't be right can it?

I would have to say the TQ number is accurate. Thats the same numbers the R1 Bike puts out.

Now if we could just get the 09 R1 motor... 180 HP 90TQ

It measures that way because of the way it is measured on the apex..

THe apex has gear reduction so torque is multiplied so the apex actually has 100+lbs of torque..
