Another 136.

I got the same problem. If i had to guess i would say no. I cut six inches out of my mtx grab bar and it was still eight inches or so longer then the stocker. i'm probably going to end up taking mine to the local canvas shop here.

Thanks! I got the pics up now of my extension. So you can compare the two grab bars.

looks great, I have my track extension on order.

Question for you, how long is the hyfax now, I need to get some on order and don't want to wait (there are absolutely zero snowmobile shops in WV so everything is mail order for me)

The rear bumper did turn out nice, only problem now is my cover does not fit. Anyone know if a MTX yamaha cover will fit? I extended the rear bumper 9.5 inches. Thanks.

I just use a bungy cord with my stock cover. It is cheap and it works real well. Here is a few pics.

Thanks

Thanks, will do. Now I just have to get home. Ugh, major snow at home and I am in Florida - 35 degrees here.

That mirror finish on the tunnel is amazing! Great work!

Here is what I would consider a stupid question. How long will that finish last? And what does a person need to do to maintain it?

On that same note, other than a ton of elbow grease, what did you use to get it to the finish? There are plenty of others that have polished aluminium on older sleds. There is just a ton of flat surface there, and it looks so nice when done.

Good work!

All I use is Mothers aluminum polish and power ball. After its all done, I take a cotton cloth with a light dusting of baby powder to remove the last little bit of polish from the cracks and any remaining finger prints. To make the finish last I use a aluminum sealer from Autocraft that I picked up a auto show, the stuff works great.
