Another but different star suspension question

OK, I have the rear part of the star suspension linkage figured out as to

how it works but still can't figure out what the front does as the shock mount is located pretty much in the same spot & is stationary. Anyone know what it is supposed to do to the suspension?

I know they added spacers, I was asking if it did indeed eliminate there wear on the limiter shaft
I have the spacer in mine and needed to add a couple thin washers to each end to really keep it tight and eliminate the vibration they thought was causing the issue. Someone with some miles on the updated kit will need to take it apart up front to see if issue has gone away. I'll probably do it after this season and have thought of buying some spare kit parts just in case. It's too much of an improvement to go back to stock.

By the sounds of things it is $300 well spent. I wounder if I could just put the rear part of the kit in because I can not figure out exactly what the front part does, lol.
Was going to ask Robert before I order my kit but he is out of town all this week.
