Has anyone had antifreeze leaking at the three pipes were they join at the Carbs? The pipes are the ones on top of the Carbs and in front. The microfiche catalog don't show any seals just the pipes. They are number 50 and 54 in the catalog. I have check the tightness of the long bolts that join the Carbs together and they were tight.

the part number is listed in the 04 snow tech manual, which your dealer should have. Im not sure where mine is at the moment or I would shoot you the part number.

What year is your RX-1? Its not really an update, but should be called rethought. If its a 03 the 04 update wont work, as the carbs are different. I thought the same, read the dealers tech book, the update was done at the factroy, they made the carbs different, and put 4 orings per pipe as the 03's only have 2 orings per pipe. Mine leakes also, changed the orings once, held for abit, but leaked again. So just put a valve in place to turn coolant off, I sled in the mountains, so carb heat not a big deal. I know didnt help you out.

Hey guys i have an 03 rx1 and have this same problem. it'll start to leak if you put any pressure on the pipes. so is it ok to just put a valve there and get rid of the carb heating altogether? my 2 strokes all had a shutoff so you could turn it on or off dunno why the 4 stroke didn't come with it.

You can buy the orings, I did buy 6 of them from the dealer, had to be order, I also looked online, doesn't show the oring either. Yamaha had an update to put a water valve inline from the cylinder head to the carbs to shut the coolant flow off. My have been closed for the last 3 years.
