I am thinking of tig welding the hole in the rear section of the rear skid mount and redrilling the hole and replacing the front section of the mount so I don't have to drill out all the structural rivets running up the tunnel!!
Has anyone done this?

Can you just weld a washer or something in the right spot?

I’d tig weld a washer to the outside. Do both sides at the same side so they match. Just my OCD!

I'd just drop the rear suspension and drill out all the fasteners and install new bracket with my air riveter.
Or go to another good sled and make a template so I know exactly where that top hole is supposed to be and weld it shut and redrill.
Use the same template for both sides, just flip it over and the holes should be in the same place.
Either method would take about the same time.
What do the brackets and fasteners cost?

I don't have a air riveted and rather not remove the bracket if I don't need to
