My 2009 Vector starter is puked and have a tooth missing from a starter gear. Not sure how it happened exactly, but my mechanic is removing the engine to further inspect.
He mentioned that there are way more stators that die than starter motors. He said there would be no labor involved to install a new stator since everything will be on the bench. My question is this, is there a market for a known working stator with 7000 miles?
