Any word on the Dynojet Power Commander III?

I was wondering if anyone has word on the Power Commander III that was talked about for the Apex in the spring. I found one on this site http://www.morepoweracing.com/prodtype~ ... ry~cat.asp for the 2006/2007 Apex but did not find one on the Dynojet site. Any help would be appreciated.

I will be traveling to DynoTech and dynoing a stock Apex, several modified air boxes, Fix Ram Air lid, K&N Air Filters, and the Powercommander for the Apex on October 30th. I will post results as soon as I am back.

are power comanders compatible with any engine? just different mapping? i have one on my bike, it would be nice if all i had to do was get the right wire adapter & download software drivers and maps.

BA Apex, no they have different wiring/connectors, etc for each individual model. The basics are the same, but the wiring is different. As far as I know they don't offer different adapters to use the same unit on multiple models.

ok, i thought it couldn't be that simple. Allen, I heard you talked to my bud at haydays (Kory Reed of Reeds Racing 72). he did good, got a 1st in 800 and 2 3rds on his 600.

How is Fundy coming with his kit - is he still waiting on the Powercommander? (sounds like something out of Star Trek! LOL)

BA Apex, watched Kory in a couple of the finals! He did a great job!

Yammiman, not sure if Fundy has been using the powercommander or not. The last I had heard he was using the boondocker box with good success.

I had Boondocker onmy F7 and it was very dependable. I did not see anything for Apex yet on their site yet? Is there a Beta test Boondocker out there?

yammiman, the fundy setup is on our website yes. When someone inquires about it we send them to Fundy Powersports and refer you to them. If we have time to test the Fundy kit ourselves we will offer it with the Powercommander. At this time the kit comes with whichever controller Fundy Powersports is currently using.

I'm picking my 07 in the next week or two.
