I have a 2007 Apex RTX. I have 1900 miles on the sled and the hyfax are completely wore out. I'm looking to upgrade all my wheels to a slightly larger diameter wheel. Has anyone replaced these wheels on the Proactive CK skid? If so what kind of wheel did you use? Any input would be helpful!

I went with larger Kimpex replacement wheels, sized 5 3/8". Huge improvement with respect to slider wear. No longer did I have to replace my sliders twice during the season, but I'm not even going to replace them after a full season...beauty!
You do have to modify some spacers/mounts to accommodate the wider bearings though.

I'm interested in hearing more opinions. What size wheels did everyone use? Are you all replacing all bogie wheels or just the two rears?
Thanks yamaha man

We will have complete kits using Slydog Real Cool Bogies that are 5.35" in diameter to reduce hyfax wear. Check out our Vendor Section below for more information.

Ski Doo wheels are slightly larger than Yamaha's. You don't need to modify anything. Just bolt them on. They don't improve slider wear though. The sliders just wear closer to the front axel.
