Anyone still riding?

She's a sleeper rick.

And scott, skins needs to send us a thank you for making their product look so good, haha. Really though, I don't know how people ride without the skins front end, seems crazy to me.

Must just need a coffee then?

I agree, it's all the tripod technique making everything look great!

The front end is incredible though, I'm excited to put the 39" on. After riding Andrews little sled it's amazing how much difference 3" makes from a front end I'm already very impressed with. The front end really does make it a new sled.

I was testriding the xtx on friday. 20 cms of fresh pow and snowing hard in the mountains - In June. Gotta love it :-o

It was quite a different ride with a 42" stock suspension vs my turbo which has the 39" skinz kit..

Glad to see you're still riding!!!! I'm most likely done for the year since I'm down in the lower 48 for a couple weeks.

Here's on more vid from a few weeks ago that I tossed together on the flight friday.

I was only waiting for you to get stuck riding like that in the trees. Finally it happened :-o

We will be riding this weekend too if the weather gods allows it. But thats it.
Its +20 degrees celcius outside and i guess the little snow we had left at the parking lot on friday is long gone now.

Ill try editing together some of the material we got this winter. should be something good with that many hours of riding.

Dont worry I've got plenty more stucks to go with that one. But I like to make people think I don't suck.

Rick, Thanks for posting the videos, I enjoy watching them. Does the turbo on your sled make your skis lift so much. It appears your skis are always just barely touching even while cruising trees, and usually completely off the ground when climbing? It just stands out to me since mine appears to ride differently.

We had fun in the sun at Whittier on Saturday. Lots of riders still there. :-o

That would be the turbo's fault. I've always got my skids set up to keep the skis down. With the timbersled it was just not enough track to keep it down and now with the 174 the Holz is doing a great job but still lifts them a couple feet on climbs. Obviously a timbersled 174 would help but beyond that would take a M10.

When I ran a non turbo I would set up the skids completely opposite to keep the skis up a bit. The sleds handle much better with the skis in the air.

9th of June. Stocker day.

Sick pictures Dimebag, Looks like some awesome riding!!!!

I'm flying back to AK as we speak, most likely be the last ride of the season for me tomorrow.

Yeah it was a great day. That was my last ride this season..
Plenty of snow on the top, but very bad conditions at lower elevations..

Have a great last ride, and be safe. Let the summer projects begin! ;)!

My kids are going out to swim while Dad watches guys snowmobiling. Hm, I think THEY are wierd !! I'd love to make it up there some day. When I was laid off 2009 with no return to work date I ALMOST took a couple job offers up there. At 52 I'm a little old to be pulling up stakes to take off on a WILD adventure like that. Keep posting guys!!

Hey Viper,

Durand, IL and swimming. You must live on Lake Summerset. I lived there about 10 years ago in a previous life for about 6 months. There wasn't much snow so I wasn't into sno-machining (or sledding) whatever it's called down there. I'm in AK now but have put up the sled for the summer. Rlcofmn and HYFLYR hit the extreme stuff in Whittier. My hats off to them as I just watch the videos as well.... maybe next year....

Rlcofmn, I watched the avi-bag video. I'm buying one, which one do you recommend and where?

Obviously everyone has there opinion on best of anything so here's mine. I bought the Snowpulse for the sole reason that the air bag has the best head/neck protection. But it is also way overpriced compared to the others. I just made up my mind that with how much I spend on riding every year I have no excuse to not have the absolute best safety gear.

For Snowpulse, the best price I have seen is Chip at 907riders.com He was cheaper than anyone I found online, no shipping and he set me up with a loaner while waiting for mine.
;)!
