So I just bought my "new" to me 2008 Apex GT and the A-Arm bushings and bolts were TOAST! I'm in the process of a complete rebuild including Oilite Bushings, New Bolts, and "fixing" the A-Arms. In what may be total overkill, I had had the lower A-Arms welding completed (top and bottom) drilled Upper and lowers for Grease fittings (12 fittings in total, 6 per side) and sent them out for Powder Coating (in White to match sled) I will post pictures as soon as I get them back and re-install them. Hopefully this will prevent the unnecessary wear and keep the A-Arms from future rusting in the corner moisture traps!
I am trying to get a group buy together for Stainless Steel grease fittings please see post in classifieds!

Sorry to tell u this but where you put the grease nipples on the ends of the A-arm is a non moving part. The sleeve that that goes in the steering knuckle is the moving part. Put grease nipples in from the back of the steering knuckle. I can get a pic tomorrow if you wish.
Looking good.
Kind of a waist to use Oilite if you are going to grease. Might as well put in stock bushings. BTW that's a damn nice sled you bought

On mine, where those areas are rusted on your's, I spray some Rust Check in there and wipe up the excess.
So far so good but I do clean those areas out ocassionally and reapply some Rust Check every now and then.

The only problem with not keeping some grease in the joints is that the steel sleeves get rust on them and then that will grind away at the oilite.
