MPI has their own direct plug-in fuel controller as well. No reason for more injectors or an external efi box or sensors when you can change the stock stuff. I think more companies are working stuff, they're just not talking about it yet.

Guys like Allen from Ulmer Racing and Jeff Simon I know are working on this probably along with others. They dont want to turn over their hard earned development knowledge to the competition so it is apt to be quiet until December.
I would guess that the ECU is not reprogrammable and you cant reflash it.
so on the output side an add on computer will be used to widen the injector pulses, might also use a higher pressure fuel pump.

Apex Turbo EFI
WE have run Apex with GT25R Turbo kit on Dyno and looks great for EFI setup.
No extra injectors and simple control unit that will come with kits.
We will be updating website soon i hope and let the cat out of the bag then.

Good, don't let the cat suffocate. We're starting to get snow on the mountains here now.

Nice to hear some positive news on the fuel control! I wonder how much boost those stock injectors can take?

stock injectors on boost?
Have run Apex last weekend at 15 lbs boost and it really snaps up to 10500 quick and we run against RX1 all setup on 18 lbs boost with Gt28RS turbo.
Apex brings new meaning to throttle response with turbo.

Why not Use the GT28R, it sits between the 25R and the 28RS.
