APEX LOST WEIGHT..... OR did it really!

I feel that when they list a sled at 553 lbs that they should be forced to live up to that... Unfortunatly they do what ever they want!

Besides its a interesting conversation to me..

I wasnt bitching about it,,, just talking about an intersting subject!

I tell all my buddys not too worry about weither or not my sled is fast or handles well because it is just a big OL cement truck.. LOL

I'm just curious are you forgetting the the chain case is completely Magnesium now not just the cover. I've mine in my hand and the old one the same day it's a lot lighter. Plus the Shorter Vector front end is lighter. Plus the motor is lighter with the lighter crank. I'd also say the throttle body's and injectors are lighter then a rack of carbs. the battery bracket also appearers to be smaller.


I think you need to drain all the fluids from your Gt and weight it dry. If it's more then 553 then you can bitch until then let it go!!!!!!!!!!


One more thing I had an 05 seat on my 03 it was very heavy. I doubt the seat is heavier then the 05 or even a 03 for that matter.

I think the feel is more importain than weight. I guess I figure once I sit on it it will be over weight just like me.
