does anyone know if the gaskets are still back ordered? I have mine apart now, they are ok but show a little wear and want to do them but may be riding this up coming weekend and want to know if I should put it back together or not
 
silicone good and ride !!
 
I was thinking high temp rtv red when they are replaced anyway? might cushion the donuts?
 
Port Yamaha has the gaskets in stock, Kevin helped me today thank again-will have gaskets tomorrow, glad my pipes are ok, I will use rockerdans gasket sealant technique, and after further review it is not a terrible job.
 
i checked mine to be safe no problems, they were worn at 4,000 everyone else experiences backfiring-i think from reading posts. It is not a giant job dive in better safe than sorry
 
Mine has been sounding differently lately, only at idle. It can't even describe the sound. I wish I could tell if they need to be replaced as I don't want to ruin my Y pipes. I don't really want to pay the dealer to tear it apart just to find nuthing.
 
Sportland in Arnprior Ont. received 10 donuts today that were back ordered. I took 3 for the grandsons 05 Vector that are shot with over 7,000 miles, and 4 for my Apex with over 6,000 on it just in case I ever need them!!! ;)!
