Asphalt Results 2004

Thanks Tom, and thanks to everybody that joined in, helped out, or just gave input on all the racing and setups. You guys are Great!

Thanks Bill, Don't forget, you get to ride this mutha sometime! Hope to see you again soon. Going to try and get to Great Lakes Dragway yet this year. I know they have a Grass Drag there sometime, and they open the asphalt to us guys for fun.

The last race of the season. Got my best numbers. 9 lbs of boost. 1.562 60 foot, 6.237at 113.93 mid, 9.763 at 136.78
11lbs of boost. 1.587 60 foot, 6.179at 117.19 mid, 9.644 at 133.53 11lbs of boost. 1.602 60 foot, 6.245at 115.98 mid, 9.722 at 135.54
The 11 lbs passes I hit the rev limiter just before the finish, causing it to slow a bit.
Also a may add that I don't have a race skid or a 10 inch track. I've told they can make as much as 3-5 tenths, and I'm useing a bender stage 1 kit.
Next season I'll ad a intercooler and a f-7 skid, hope that will make a difference.

Good numbers wish I could afford a turbo!!! Season finals here were last weekend Sept. 26th. I was out for Sunday only, made it to 3rd round of trophy, then red lighted :o| , oh well there's always next year. This weekend we went down to Interstate Dragways for there season final. Again we just went for Sunday. We had a cross wind which caused them t to run 1/8 mile as oppose to 1/4 because a rail ended up in the opposite lane at the end of the track when he had cleared the wind break.
Kind of weird dialing in single digit numbers, well I went to the finals one more time, but it wasn't meant to be this year. Last run had dialed a 7.05 and I ran 7.05 but my opposition got me on the reaction and I had to settle for second place again! Like I said, there's always next year I guess.
Got back to Lac du Bonnet last night and it had snowed, the highway was wet and the sticky snow was stuck to the highway signs, and this morning there was a trace of snow in the grass. Maybe time to convert this thing back to snow,,,,but but but there's 2 more weekends, king of the hill drags with 1200 payout. Decisions decisions.
