I got 3rd place/Semi's on Wednesday night. Had a 'buy' or 'by' run, (Good time to do a test-n-tune run) so I went to the semi's. Then mr. red light showed up...

Buster - Joel would like you to call them at Wahl. 218-782-2295 He said your front torque arm is sucked in too much, he thinks. I hate that red eye myself.
everyone - will be trying Mr Sled's setup tonight, and he said it should shift out more. If that is the case, I could drop down a little on gearing, and still keep my top end charge. 22/38 worked good, but ran out of gear with the stock clutches. These are machined, to ramp faster, and use the most of the clutches. Hope for clear skies, cause they are predicting rain all weekend.

Nos,
Thanks for the info...
That was going to be my next move with the skid.
I'll give him a call to discuss plus a couple more items related to that skid.
Thanks again,

Troops...I found out the hard way you gotta gear rx-1,s tall. Gearing em down slows you down all the way thru. Been der dun dat not doing it again!!!
Turk: You talking stockers or Turbo sleds. My turbo had zero problem pulling 145 plus on the speedo with 22/40.

My times and mph were better with taller gearing. The turbo had the power to pull the gears. Especially the mph!

My stocker has always liked the taller gearing as well. More power should mean more gear yet...BBY
