Bo-Shield T-9 was developed by Boeing for use on aircraft. It is sold under the Yamaha label at your dealer. It works great on a sled because it forms a protective, coating that does not easily come off. That is why I generally use silicone to clean my skid and a-arms. The silicone removes the dirt that ultimately sticks to the T-9 and removes the T-9. Anyway, the T-9 significantly reduces corrosion. The only drawback is that your a-arms may not be as shiny, because of the T-9 residue. However, in my opinion it is a small price to pay.
