ATTAK 1/4 MILE

I saw several 10.8's with just clutching adjustments at the sled shootout covered in this months magazine in AmSnow I believe.

Radar Run

We ran 1/4 mile this week-end on the lake with very little snow cover on the lake. My 05 rx1 ran 99.9 and a friends 06 Apex ran 99.9 mph. Traction was a problem and the elevation on the lake is 6,000 ft. :flag:

____Hey Shark___

Forgot to ask you what you were seeing for rpms on that helix set up.
Mine comes off at about 9800 and then goes to about 10200 in about 900 ft or 300 yrds. Dreem meter say's about 95-96 :moon: Thats on about 4" soft packed.

Also one of my friends has a pretty fast mxz800 that rarely ever gets beat by another 800. We ran off several times and i got him by about 2 1/2 sled lengths everytime and he said his speedo said about the same thing 95-96 mphr. I wonder i the apex speedo is about on to 100.

Anyway it's an awsome set up. ;)!

APEXER1: WHEN I HIT THE THROTTLE WENT RIGHT UP TO 10500 AND THEN DROPPED ALITTLE GOING THRU THE QUARTER THE DREAMETER SAID 106 BUT RADAR SAID 94, I THINK IT WILL BE ALOT BETTER ONCE IT CHANGE THE WHEEL'S, HYFAX AND ANTI-WEAR, I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO PUT THE BRAKE ON, IT STOPPED SO QUICK 820 MILE ON HER, 3 OF THE WHEELS ARE COMPLETELY GONE AND THE HYFAX ARE JUNK

Was that run on hard pact on the lake. Haven't had much of a chance to run on hard pact because of the lack of snow here. Also was the left side hifax worn out compaired to the right side. The only reason i say that is because something is fishy with these sleds. Had to loosen the r/front shock spring a good 1/2 inch to get equal preasure on both front skis, almost like the rear skid was drilled wrong and put in crooked or the front end isn't quite right from the factory. Anyone else see this.

YES, LEFT SIDE OF SLED THE WHEELS ARE TOAST, ALSO, ON LAKE JUST A CRUST OF SNOW, WARM CONDITIONS, BUT SHE GOT AND WENT. ALOT OF PEOPLE THERE WERE IMPRESSED

If the left side are toast measure the lenght of the front shocks (total length) not the adjusters, you will probably find that the right shock is longer then the left. If that is the case then i know your not going to like this but your gona have to loosen the right shock so it's the same as the left.(Mine is about a good 1/2inch less or more) It must be eather the skid in crooked or the front chasis welded off from the factory. Once you get the preasure equeal in the front the sled handles the corners alot better, and i mean ALOT better.....Maybe thats why alot of people are having a darting problem and mine seems to be ok...
