I have about 200 miles on this sled now. At top speed my rpms's get to about 10,400 @ speedo reading 120. It then climbs to 10,700 at speedo reading 125. Should a clutch adjustment be needed?? If so, can someone tell me what I should do??? Thanks for the input

Sounds like maybe it might be overtaking the gearing at the end when you get that rise in RPM. If I remember right the 150 EFI makes peak power at 10100 RPM

Peak power at 10,500 rpm and will run very strong between 10,200 rpm to 10,700 rpm!

That's cool. Srxspec, Is it ok for the RPM to climb at the end like that? Also on my Attak I would kind of like to drop the engaugement RPM as I do alot of woods rideing. I don't race at all so I was planning on puting a primary spring with less preload. This might also reduce some of the engine breaking, Seems like alot of engine breaking. Was also thinking of keeping the RPM at around 10100. Is that ok? Thanks

I would add a little weight up front for drag racing but for every day lake-trail you are very close!

The RPM climbing at the end of a long run is either running out of gear or the white secondary spring is beginning to bind, but it won't hurt anything. If you want to drop the engagement rpm and keep the RPM down around 10,100 you will need to purchase a Y-P-Y primary spring as it has lower preload and slight lower total force to keep the rpm's down.

Srxspec, Does rasing the engagement help with rear turbo lag at all?? Say 3,200 to 4,500?

Thank you Skydog

Skydog, the clutching I've helped with on rear mounts were all engaging around 4500 rpm for best performance. Of course if you want to ride slow speeds (20-30 mph) down the trail this doesn't work as well, but not many turbo owners run those speeds.
